Remember the equation is for "vehicles" not just "tanks" so it includes hovercraft, helicopters, dirigibles, dump trucks, etc.


That is why I was using an equation to create a "strategy." It may not be "correct" but it gives a relationship between weight and size.


I realize that there is sporadic size comparisons, but without an overarching size list (something like the data in Total Warfare and Tech Manual), I'm sticking with an equation. This keeps it from being a discussion about this one versus that one, and don't forget the relationship with this other one. Enough to make anyone go crazy :) and waste time that is better spent on development.

Yeah, the 3039 chart is pretty good, though as derk says it doesn't cover everything.

I say ignore the fluff and just go with basic table.

For the animation I'm working on I'm simply going to use the calculation and then adjust by eye.

What looks "right" to me. That part should be the most important part of the calculation.
