Here's the Blackhawk clan mech which I finished some time ago, but haven't had time to prepare for upload.

Included are the texture sheets and 3ds export. Please tell me if there are any problems with the files.

Blackhawk files

Mauler files

EDIT; corrected link.

Looks good and all the right files, very nice.

But, they both link to the Blackhawk (Nova).

Mauler's missile racks are bit too tall, and they don't look like LRM-15. For comparison, this one's from TRO art (I think)

You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights errant, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

Of course, but in this case I don't know what is actually going to be fitted there.

Currently the IS LRM 15 in game is 3 LRM 5s stacked on top of each other (or a round tube, but I'm not sure when each is used).

It's pretty tall, so needs a lot of space to be mounted realistically.

Check this in game screen shot of another mech with LRM 15s;

Also if the mech lab is ever implemented and alternative load outs and customized mechs are allowed it needs enough room to mount some other kinds of weapons there.

There are a lot of factors to take in to account when designing a mech for this game, and the TRO art is just a starting point. For example, where on the TRO art is the torso twist? I had to take a lot of liberties with that issue, but the alternative is a mech with torso mounted primary weapons which can't torso twist.
