Reference sites

Postby Stormwolf » Tue Sep 13, 2005 6:25 pm

It would be handy if we all had access to more reference materials, so let's share all the sites we use for this.

Post any sites here that contain miniatures or drawings of mechs/vehicles we could use.

I'll start things of with these:

http://www.camospecs.com/Gallery.asp
http://www.lordsofthebattlefield.com/gallery/index.php
http://www.solaris7.com/Gallery/ImageList.asp

The TRO armament they have listed isn't always correct, but a good selection of images, both UnSeen and ReSeen:

I'm not sure how it's taken me so long to find these. I guess since I'm mostly focused on IS stuff.

My understanding is that those are the models that the new minis are based on, so it won't get much more official...

Also, some nice shots of reseen minis from the same site.

http://www.heavygauss.com/

A very complete gallery with unseen/reseen and resculpt version of a lot of mechs (I'm not sure but I think that only the TRO 3750 mechs are missing)

I think there are a few mechs not at that site, but it does give very good reference photos. Back and front shots.

You would really have to think hard to pick a mech which is not there.
