City Engine?

Has anyone tried City Engine? http://www.procedural.com/

It's supposed to be able to "build any city in the world." And has export features for a few programs, including LWO. I tried to run the demo but my graphics card is too old to utilize OpenGL 2.

If it works as advertised, BTS could get some much needed urban landscapes among other buildings.

Yeah, it is a bit steep. Even 3DS Max is around $1,300. Software is so expensive that companies are selling subscription services to use their products.

Of course there are other...methods to acquiring the software for free. Like if you knew someone in the industry that can give you a copy for example.
